Capturing the imagination of youth and awakening their curiosity to learn is a major struggle for educators around the world. With distractions at every turn, its harder and harder to get children interested about learning and understanding the world around them. Through Edutainment experiences, EON Reality is creating fun ways for children to learn and the content and ideas created at EON’s Laval office, as EON Reality’s first Edutainment Hub, will change how children are entertained and educated worldwide.
“Edutainment and Virtual Reality have a great potential to change the way we view education and how our children learn,” said Dan Lejerskar, Chairman of EON Reality. “Building on the EON Experience Portal, the world’s largest VR library for learning, and the innovative Virtual Reality research being done in Laval, EON Reality SAS will help our network deliver cutting edge edutainment and educational experiences for millions of our users worldwide.”
“Our partnership with Laval and its burgeoning Virtual Reality community is going to greatly benefit both EON Reality and Laval,” said Mats Johansson, CEO and President of EON Reality. “We have an excellent opportunity to work closely with Laval Virtual, Arts et Metiers ParisTech, and other regional Virtual Reality companies to create awe inspiring applications and experiences.
