Laval Virtual will open its doors from March 22 to 26 at the Multi-purpose room in Laval (Mayenne, department 53)

LAVAL, FR, March 22, 2017 – EON Reality Inc., the world leader in Virtual Reality based knowledge transfer for industry, education, and edutainment, and Atlantic Santé, a communication agency consulting in Nutrition, Health, and Environment, in collaboration with Lactel, the leading French milk company, present an innovative Virtual Reality application: “Mes crêpes Lactel®”. Created on EON Reality’s EON-XR Platform, it is a playful, yet serious, application that provides nutritional information to the user.

Throughout the application, the user will gain knowledge of where each ingredient in the recipe fits into their daily diet. The playful interface and educational format has been designed to facilitate the journey of the user, step by step, from looking for the ingredients up to the topping of the crêpes.

The participants will « prepare » crêpes within a virtual kitchen: a recipe highly appreciated by the French and of which milk is a major ingredient. The application is the result of cooperation between two companies of the mayenne business ecosystem: EON Reality and Atlantic Santé.

By participating in this application, which « reinvents » the way we make crêpes, Lactel sought to capitalize on Virtual Reality as a future way to market and consume products. Lactel wishes to make their brand accessible through Virtual Reality while making this experience both playful and original. This application is also to answer the expectations of professionals in the agri-food industry, by setting a product placement marketing strategy in a VR experience. For Lactel, it is an opportunity to try an innovative communication strategy within a virtual universe: a first for the brand.
