Sporting News Newsroom: Bucs to develop Jameis Winston with help of virtual reality

The Buccaneers will use football simulator software, a type of virtual-reality system, to assist with quarterback development, specifically Jameis Winston, the team announced Monday. Tampa Bay hopes rookie Jamies Winston can benefit from the technology.

The Bucs will begin using the system, developed by Kansas-based EON Sports VR, when training camp starts on Aug. 1. The Bucs will also become the first NFL team to introduce virtual reality at the youth football level when they begin incorporating instructional sessions in Tampa on July 25.
