Following the recent addition to facilities and infrastructure at the City Football Academy of MCFC, the club and the City Football Academy are exploring new technologies and directions in their game preparation and development through Virtual Reality. The team recently visited local Virtual Reality and 3D company – EON Reality in Manchester to experience and understand the vast potential of stimulating solutions which can improve several areas of their business, ranging from implementing virtual training for the team, to engaging with their fans in a fully interactive fan experience.

Members of the MCFC team have taken the opportunity to experience different examples of EON solutions ranging from mobile Augmented Reality applications to immersive interactive Icubes to evaluate and understand which areas this can see real benefits.
