Dan Lejerskar | WorldSkills Leaders Forum

EON Reality Chairman, Dan Lejerskar, has been invited to speak at the WorldSkills Leaders Forum (WSLF), the premiere WorldSkills networking event during the WorldSkills Competition.

The event will bring together leaders from government, industry, and education to address global skills issues. The WSLF develops the power of WorldSkills’ global network to meet the needs of industry, commerce and those who train individuals to the mutual benefit of all participants. With over 250 leaders in attendance, the audience will have the opportunity to network, share knowledge and learn about global skills issues.

Former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (Lula) will give the keynote address during the WorldSkills Leaders Forum 2013 (WSLF), where the theme of the WSLF is ‘Our Youth Our Future’. The keynote address will focus on the best strategy to make the social and economic transformation through the VET process and skill Competitions. He has a lot of expertise and experience in sharing best practices and working with different regions of the world, especially South and Central America and Africa to increase the skills standards through on the ground knowledge and training practices. Brazil’s economy and workforce has come a long way in a relatively short amount of time; Lula will talk about Brazil’s strategy regarding the use of skills competitions to promote careers in the skills, trades and technologies sectors and increasing the student’s skills to a level of global excellence.
