The 4th Industrial Revolution based on intelligent information technology combined with artificial intelligence and ICT is under way around the world. Under such circumstances, e-Learning is expected to change into individually customized and optimized education that can create various new knowledge information and maximize learning effects by using augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), artificial intelligence (AI) and learning analysis technology.
Based on such e-Learning, the government and private sectors are making various efforts to cultivate creative talents who will lead the future, to resolve gaps in education, and to activate e-Learning. In addition, through international exchange and cooperation, we are sharing our success cases and experiences regarding educational information with the rest of the world. By doing so, we are using efforts to globalize the education and industry related to e-Learning.
As a part of such efforts, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and Gyeonggido Office of Education are opening ‘e-Learning Korea 2017’ under the theme “e-Learning, Happy Encounter with New Technology.”
During e-Learning Korea 2016 over 26,000 attended the Expo and Conference.
