At the 22nd United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) General Assembly in Chengdu, China, EON Reality and Catalyst Group Intl. launched the “Suspicious Signs” application which trains users how to detect agents and indicators of an eminent terror attack. The application focuses on suspicious human behavior, vehicles, luggage, and documentation.“Suspicious Signs” brings EON Reality’s EON-XR Platform together with Catalyst Group’s expertise in security and anti-terrorism to train people employed in travel and tourism on how to detect and ultimately prevent terrorist attacks.

Dan Lejerskar (Founder of EON Reality) and Pontus Appelqvist (VP of Sales, Asia) met with key figures and organizations to demonstrate the application and highlight the benefits the application provides to travel and tourism companies. The Suspicious Signs application is part of a broader partnership between EON Reality and Catalyst Group to establish an online EON-XR Safety Academy to train travel and tourism professionals.

Through Virtual Reality experiences, travel and tourism professionals will experience situations where they need to quickly and accurately identify suspicious vehicles, false documents, suspect behavior, and dangerous luggage. They can then carry these experiences into their work, where they would encounter these suspicious signs and report them to the proper authorities shortening the time to detection and leading to prevention.https://eonreality.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Taleb_eon.jpg
