EON REALITY EDUCATION
EON Reality founded EON Reality Education, a non-profit, to focus on advancing the cause of Augmented and Virtual Reality (AVR) education and research.
INNOVATION IN EDUCATION
ACROSS FOUR AREAS OF AVR OUTREACH AND RESEARCH
EON Reality Education is a non-profit focused on advancing the cause of Augmented and Virtual Reality (AVR) education and research. It will do this by assisting EON Reality in executing its Human 2.0 vision by identifying and proposing areas of research to elevate man and machine interaction via AR and VR.
the immersive flipped classroom
Classroom 3.0 leverages immersive technology, such as Creator AVR, to accelerate out of class learning and improving the in class discussions, demonstrations, and labs. The current generation of learners relies heavily on technology and knowledge must be delivered accordingly. By merging the flipped classroom with immersive 3D content, lessons and classroom materials are consumed in the way the brain naturally thinks bypassing the abstract thinking needed to turn words into 3D images.
Creator AVR, EON Reality’s learning and content creation solution, empowers Classroom 3.0 by putting the tools needed to create AVR learning modules in the hands of teachers and subject matter experts. With the ease of powerpoint, teachers can create experiential lessons that use audio, video, and 3D models to engage their students and provides a hands on learning experience. Now students can experience their subjects in 3D, a more natural way for the brain to process complex concepts, across a wide variety of subjects.
educating AR and VR specialists
EON Reality Education will continue to develop the VR and AR curriculum developed by EON Reality over the past five years for the VR Innovation Academy (VRIA). The non-profit will also support the growing number of global VRIAs as well as partner institutions. The VR Innovation Academy provides students with a hands-on approach to learning Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality design and development skills, empowering these students to join this exciting new field.
KNOWLEDGE IS A HUMAN RIGHT
The EON Learn for Life Program will use the advancements made in the VRIA curriculum and in Classroom 3.0 to help people in less developed regions of the world to better compete in the global job market and who need it the most. With prices pegged to a nation’s ability to purchase, through the KnowledgeBit Initiative, rather than a universal price, students and trainees can have equal access to the knowledge needed to thrive in today’s global economy.
Building the FUTURE OF EDUCATION
EON Reality Education will also guide and commission research and development projects with partner institutions to better understand the cognitive benefits of AVR, enhance the AVR ecosystem through AI and other emerging technologies, and improve knowledge transfer based on continuous assessment.
Additional research will be undertaken in how to further leverage data driven content to quickly expand available content, industry specific use cases and interaction modalities that support them, and further enhancements to scalability and AVR cloud capabilities.
