If you do not have EON installed on your computer you can find your Host ID by following these steps:
Please go to Start > Run > cmd > Click <enter>
Type "getmac" and press <enter>.
E-mail all Physical Addresses without hyphen to support@eonreality.com
Where do I place my license file?
Please save your license file in the C:\Windows\FLEXlm folder.
What is the difference between a node locked license and a floating license?
A node locked license only works on an individual computer.
A floating license is a network license, it makes it possible to have a number of licenses available in a network. A license server is required to store the license file. EON is installed on all clients, but they access the EON license via the LAN(Local Area Network). A full installation is not necessary on the server, only the FlexLM need be installed.
Floating licenses makes it possible to have a number of licenses available in a network. This is useful for classrooms etc where you have many people using EON Studio at the same time.
