The intimate event in Manchester was attended by guests from around the world. The one day session explained EON Reality’s global strategy and how an Interactive Digital Center (IDC) Hub works.
EON Reality, together with Panasonic, attended the 2014 Infocomm show in Las Vegas this past week. Billed as the ultimate 3D immersive experience, the EON Icube Mobile was the talk of the show with a steady stream of visitors over the three day event. Approximately two thousand visitors experienced the Icube Mobile and many more looked on.
The Icube Mobile challenged people’s senses as some struggled to maintain their balance during our roller coaster simulation. The immersive experience challenged people’s preconceptions about “3D” technology and left many people excitedly pondering the possibilities.

LA Harbor College held an open house on May, 19th 2014 to commemorate the opening of their Interactive Digital Center featuring an EON Icube. Attendees were treated to a presentation by Mats w. Johansson, EON Reality’s CEO and President, about EON Reality and how Virtual Reality is impacting training, education, and edutainment in the marketplace.
Augmented and Virtual Reality Market to Reach $1.06 Billion USD by 2018; EON Reality Highlighted as a Market Leader in Report
In a new report released by MarketsandMarkets, the Augmented and Virtual Reality market is expected to reach $1.06 billion by 2018. Rapid growth in the Augmented Reality is a large factor in the growth of the overall AR/VR market. By 2018, the Augmented Reality market is expected to reach $659.98 million and the Virtual Reality market is estimated to total $407.51 million. EON Reality is identified as a key market player and is one of the 22 VR/AR companies profiled in the report.
“Major key players in the augmented reality and virtual reality market are Total Immersion (U.S.), Qualcomm Inc. (U.S.), Metaio GmbH (Germany), Oculus VR, Inc. (U.S.), Vuzix Corporation (U.S.), and EON Reality, Inc. (U.S.),” stated MarketandMarkets.
Their reports state that by 2015 Augmented Reality will be widely used in education for “advanced learning and for teaching technologies.” The rapid growth of the Virtual and Augmented Reality market, according to MarketsandMarkets, is based in large part on computer hardware advances and improvements in internet connectivity. Key growth areas are Healthcare applications, consumer m-commerce, and markerless Augmented Reality.
EON Reality launched the EON Innovation Program at The Co-Foundry in Singapore to a group of interested entrepreneurs. Dan Lejerskar, Chairman of EON Reality, presented the Innovation Program and explained the 12-month incubation process for Virtual and Augmented Reality start ups.
Along with Mr. Lejerskar, key mentors Michael Yap, Chairman of EON Reality’s International Advisory Board, and Sridhar Sunkad, Managing Director of EON Reality Singapore, presented details of the Innovation Program and Michael Yap’s “Shakeout Methodology” to the assembled group.
Less than 30 days to Laval Virtual; EON Reality a key exhibitor along with Microsoft, MIT, and metaio
There are less than thirty days until the 16th edition of Laval Virtual on April 9-11th 2014 in Laval, France. EON Reality SARL will be a key exhibitor at Laval Virtual and will demonstrate EON Reality’s technology and solutions.

EON Reality has joined the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA). The IAAPA, founded in 1918, is the largest international trade association for permanently situated amusement facilities and has members in 97 countries worldwide. Joining the IAAPA will help EON Reality respond to growing interest in EON’s immersive technologies as an entertainment platform.
The EON Icube Mobile was one of the key features of Panasonic’s booth at the Integrated Systems Europe trade show in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from February 4th to the 6th. The 4-wall EON Icube Mobile at ISE featured Panasonic’s PT-DZ870 projector (8,500 lumens, WUXGA) with an ultra-short throw lens (ET-DLE030) creating bright and beautiful images.

The EON Icube Mobile was a big hit at the 2014 International Petroleum Technology Conference (Jan. 19-22nd) in Doha, Qatar. Both the Prime Minister and Energy Minister of Qatar started the show in the Qatar Petroleum booth experiencing EON Reality’s Icube Mobile. Over the course of the four day event, hundreds of people experienced EON Reality’s industry leading immersive Virtual Reality technology.
