The EON Icube Mobile was one of the key features of Panasonic’s booth at the Integrated Systems Europe trade show in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from February 4th to the 6th. The 4-wall EON Icube Mobile at ISE featured Panasonic’s PT-DZ870 projector (8,500 lumens, WUXGA) with an ultra-short throw lens (ET-DLE030) creating bright and beautiful images.
EON Reality’s Icube Mobile was the Highlight of the International Petroleum Technology Conference in Doha, Qatar
The EON Icube Mobile was a big hit at the 2014 International Petroleum Technology Conference (Jan. 19-22nd) in Doha, Qatar. Both the Prime Minister and Energy Minister of Qatar started the show in the Qatar Petroleum booth experiencing EON Reality’s Icube Mobile. Over the course of the four day event, hundreds of people experienced EON Reality’s industry leading immersive Virtual Reality technology.

Since the release of our EON Ibench Mobile solution we’ve been approached by quite a few companies requesting a similar solution for much larger spaces that can support heavier system requirements. Well, we’re happy to announce the release of the EON Ibench, a full-body standalone display solution that allows you to experience all the benefits of our smaller, mobile solution but for larger scale projects.
The Immersive and Creative Technologies Lab (iCTLab) at Cyprus University of Technology recently equipped their facilities with the EON Icube for a project entitled “A sophisticated Virtual Reality system for Generating Interdisciplinary Research and Development in Cyprus.”
We recently came across a particular white paper written by Professor Dr. Anne Bamford, Director of the International Research Agency, discussing the importance and benefits of 3D in the classroom. As you all know, here at EON we are HUGE proponents of incorporating interactive 3D technologies within education, and Dr. Bamford’s research best explains why doing so is so important.
